Shavkat has a great striking and has a brutal ground game. Buckley is just choosing Ian because he was going to fight against him. Garry is very talented but we will see a domination.

Ian will run around the cage like a rabbit and Shavkat will patiently approach and wait till he can get into a clinch, do some dirty boxing, throwing up some knees, some take downs and dominate him

Ian been traveling a lot for training. Trained at Chute box for jiu jitsu, now he’s in Thailand for some striking training. He’s doing all the right things and I believe he will be a proper prospect for a long time. But this fight? I think it will be a competitive fight where shavkat will edge it but Ian will get to showcase his skills. Its going to be one of those fights where a high level fighter loses to another high level fighter early in his career then goes on winning later. Just like when Arman fought Islam or when Leon edwards fought usman for the first time.

The thing is, as with a lot of these fresh prospects, Shavkhat has great striking offence, but he is not defensively sound. He gets hit a lot, and a great striker will take advantage of this. Is that Ian, maybe, but probably not.
If its going to decisions...it will be hard for both....if rakhmonov take garry down its over for garry.....i dont think garry can defend his take down if he can its bad for everyone in division

I think garry has the advantage in striking even though shavkat is good with striking, but he does have a suspect chin, but overall shavkat is so well rounded, i cannot see how garry can avoid the submission threat. I have shavkat winning
@@Triumphantchild he was very wobbled in that fight, legs were jelly, not sure about his recovery time. perhaps that is decent like a tyson fury, however he doesn't have the same kind of chin as others, in saying that I am only trying to find one of his flaws, as his offensive game is very sound and overall amazing.
